We are looking for a PhD candidate, to work on data-driven design of new energy storage materials.

The main focus of the project is to use machine-learning (ML) methods to predict the properties of new energy storage materials. You will work as part of an international team of researchers working on nanoscale computational modeling of materials at the CCER, DIFFER. The project will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Süleyman Er (DIFFER and CCER). More information on the project, and how to apply may be found at the NWO website.

About CCER

The Center for Computational Energy Research  aims to explore pathways to future energy systems. This is done via computational simulations that complement experimental energy research. The center was founded in 2017 as the result of a joint initiative between the Department of Applied Physics of the Eindhoven University of Technology and NWO Institute DIFFER.
